Where Grit Meets Glamour in a Bold Celebration of Urban Culture.
Not long ago, the British Fashion Council announced it was scrapping London Fashion Week June—the rebranded successor to the once-buzzing London Collections: Men and London Fashion Week Men’s of the 2010s. In its place, the Council would focus on supporting British brands through Paris-based showrooms. The news landed with impact, but not much surprise. The schedule had been shrinking, interest waning, and for many designers, it was no longer commercially sustainable.
Then came a far more exciting twist: Martine Rose—who had long distanced herself from the traditional fashion week circuit—would return with a showcase of her own. Her first London catwalk in two years would anchor a weekend-long cultural takeover, featuring a vibrant market of independent designers, artists, vintage sellers, record dealers, and photographers from all across the capital.
